- My son and I have enjoyed doing most of these Mad Libs, but I’m giving them one star based on one page in particular. The first sentence of A Rockin’ Easter Egg Roll is “President [Person in the room - Male] and the First [Noun], [Person in the room - Female]...†So it’s assuming that a President can only be male. And married to a lovely woman. These are marketed towards children! And it was published in 2013! I was so taken aback as I was reading it to my son, that it resulted in a conversation about sexism. Penguin Random House - please get with the times and change this page!!!
- According to Mad Libs, only men can be President of the United States. Made for an interesting conversation with the kids this Easter morning.

- I got this for my 7 year old this Easter...he's almost done with first grade and is becoming quite the little reader and writer. This was the perfect gift for him. He asked me for nouns, adjectives and verbs (since he doesn't know that quite yet) but was cracking up reading the stories we created. Cheap way to keep him happy and entertained.
- So fun. Just like I remember as a kid. However, I didn't realize the educational value when I was a kid- I just thought I was having fun. Only now I did as a parent and my son is learning the difference between nouns, verbs, etc. Great way to practice those skills!
